Released May 21st, The Baines debut single Like This Forever is a perfect track for the weather we’re experiencing. Its light and airy melodies backed by a punchy bass line, strong guitar riffs and rhythmic drums give it a real Summer vibe.
From Athlone, Co. Westmeath, The Baines are an Irish Indie band, consisting of co songwriters Kevin O’Neill and Cormac Sheerin, with Alan O’Neill contributing to production and music on a part-time basis.
Like This Forever is a catchy emotional tune and would fit well on most of my own playlists, it’s a track you could clean, drive or run listening to, but would also sound perfectly in place in the corner of a pub or being chanted by a busker in town. I look forward to The Baines next release, Bring It Up is anticipated to be a punchy follow-up to this debut, and to be released later this Summer.
